The 1^st International Colloquium on Water and the Environment: sharing to preserve will be held at the University Centre of Maghnia (Algeria) from 7 to 9 June 2023. The issue of water and the environment is increasingly raised in the sense of equity and efficiency in relation to the growing degradation of the conditions of accessibility, protection and preservation.

In this regard, the conference will provide a forum for participants from academia, government agencies, non-governmental organizations and industry, offering an opportunity for reflection and exchange of experiences and results between technical, economic and management, legal and legislative expertise to reconcile :

• the scarcity-quality-sustainability of water resources under various water stakeholders;
• the environmental component and the energetic demand for an integrated and sustainable management of water resources;
• the interpretation-technicality-application of the penal norm to ensure an efficient protection of water and aquatic environments.
